FarmHouse Wins ‘24 Greek Week for Fourth Straight Year
Led by Greek Week Chairs Camden Cummings and Greg Colegrove, Troy FarmHouse won the 2024 Greek Week Trophy. That marks FarmHouse’s fourth straight Greek Week victory, the longest active streak of any Fraternity or Sorority at Troy University.
Under the theme “All American Greeks”, FarmHouse was paired with Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and Sigma Gamma Rho for team four against the five other teams. From April 1 to 6, FarmHouse, AOII, and Sigma Gamma Rho competed with five other teams in a series of challenges and events to earn points toward individual and team standings.
“This week meant a lot to me. While yes it did feel good to win I think the thing I’m most proud of is our guys, every single one was a part of this win in some form or fashion,” Cummings, a Pre-Law Major from Jemison, AL, said. “Win or lose I honestly couldn’t be more happy to be a part of something this special and love every single person in this brotherhood.”
Overall, FarmHouse won the Fraternity division for Greek Week, beating out Sigma Chi and Lambda Chi as the second and third-place finishers, respectively. Meanwhile, Kappa Delta won the Sorority division for Greek Week, moving past Alpha Delta Pi and Chi Omega.
Throughout the week, FarmHouse managed to place in a variety of events. Those events include winning the Greek Week Games, finishing T-3rd in Greek Sing, third in Banner, and second in Black Light Volleyball, while earning participation points in the Can-Less Castle.
“Winning Greek Week means the world to me. Camden and I couldn’t have done it without the support of the entire chapter and we both are very thankful for the opportunity to be the Greek week chairs,” Colegrove, a Social Science Education Major from Baker, FL, said. “We both were extremely happy to do this for the people that took a chance on us.
